Sanity Snack: A Type B Mom’s Easy Lunchbox Joke Card Hack

I’ll be the first to admit… I am not the “perfect lunchbox note” type of mom. But this year I stumbled into my Type B mom win of the year: pre-made joke/note cards for Olive’s kindergarten lunchbox.

Here’s my system: I keep the little deck of cards right by my coffee pot (because, let’s be honest, that’s one thing I never forget in the morning). Each day, I grab one, jot a quick one-sentence note on the back, and tape it onto her snack container. Five seconds and done.

Olive LOVES the jokes. Her whole lunch table does, actually. And if she’s missing me during the day, she flips the card over and gets a tiny hello from mom.
