Cutting Back on Coffee Without Losing Your Comfort Ritual

Sanity Snack Series

Snack-sized content for busy moms with full plates.

My favorite thing in the world is coffee. Black. Usually an americano. Honestly, I could sip on them all day. Late coffee doesn’t really keep me up at night (which is a little dangerous), but lately I’ve been trying to cut back because I know I go overboard.

My new routine looks like this: one French press in the morning, and then I switch to Everyday Dose for the rest of the day. It’s half the caffeine, and sometimes I only use half a scoop since the flavor is strong and I like it a little lighter. I’m really loving it. The mushroom blend and collagen make me feel like I’m doing something good for my body too, which is always a bonus!

Part of it is just the comfort of holding a cup all day. At school especially, it feels like my little anchor that keeps me calm and grounded. Maybe that’s just something I’ve made up, but it works for me.

If you’re curious:

  • The medium roast has about the same caffeine as a regular cup.
  • The mild roast has half the caffeine.
  • It tastes great, and even though it’s a bit pricey, it lasts for a long time.
  • Everyday Dose isn’t just lower caffeine, it’s packed with good stuff. The mushroom blend (lion’s mane, chaga, reishi) helps with focus, immunity, and stress support. The collagen is great for healthy skin, hair, nails, and joints. And the clean ingredients mean you get steady energy without the crash.

Everyday Dose has been such a nice swap for me. Less caffeine, but still my “security cup” in hand all day long.

Let’s not lose our minds together,

Tori
